About these kiwiberries
A kiwiberry is a kiwifruit's smaller cousin — about the size of a large grape, with a smooth edible skin and the same bright green flesh. No peeling, no spoon, just eat them. They're picked almost ripe rather than cold-stored, which is why the season is short and why we won't sell them outside it. Most of our crop is graded for export; what you're buying here is the same fruit, usually a gram under export weight. Keep them on the bench for a day or two to soften, then in the fridge. They're at their best when they give slightly under a thumb.
